Kini-Yen is named after an uncle. A tribute to family, to creativity, and to the spirit of trying things. The name carries love, memory, meaning and that is what you will find in every bottle.

This is not a factory. Not a lab with white coats and spreadsheets optimised for margin. It is a labour of love: handcrafted, intentional, and deeply personal. Each batch is made by hand. Each decision is made deliberately. Nothing about Kini-Yen is accidental.

We started with one oil because one oil, made properly, is enough. Ndolo meaning love takes four weeks per batch, every batch, because the oils deserve time and so does the person who will wear them.

Kini-Yen will grow slowly, intentionally, on its own terms. New scents will come when they are ready. The promise is simple: controllable, craft-led, and never scaled beyond the point of care.
